Community Baptist Church-BGW, VAThis new 20,300 square foot building in South Riding includes a new sanctuary and space for offices and classrooms. The pre-engineered metal building has a veneer of brick-look stucco. This project was completed in 2009. The church members were highly involved in this project through their Ministry of Construction. Mt. Zion Baptist, Fredericksburg, VAAddition to existing church, including new sanctuary, classrooms, offices, and restrooms. New parking area is pervious paving to comply with environmental quality recommendations. New sanctuary has vaulted ceiling, baptistry, and sound room. Project also includes new entrance courtyard. The church was able to keep costs down by working with the volunteer missionary group Men on a Mission to provide the labor for the framing carpentry on the project. DCG worked with the volunteer carpenters to ensure accurate interpretations of the plans and quality work. GMU President's Park Phase 2B, VirginiaThis fast-paced project was completed over the summer of 2010. Starting on May 17 (the day after the students left for their summer break) DCG removed all furniture, roofing, doors, carpet, ceilings, air conditioning/heating equipment, electrical panels, lights, and wiring. By August 1, we had replaced all of these systems, added a completely new sprinkler system and were starting up the systems.
